ROBOTIC SYSTEM LudoSys ver. Beta 1.0
The LudoSys system intends to answer the most basic and least attended needs of those persons affected to differing degrees, in their manipulation, movement or mobility capabilities. The initial objetive of the system is to allow these people, especially children, to play with robots taking their physical and/or psychological limitations into consideration. At the same time it intends to be an integral tool allowing shared play between people with and without disability. Robots are a very attractive tool to stimulate any child.
LudoSys is composed of robotic systems (Quillo!), special devices (physical interfaces with a high level of configuration), functional modules and control, construction and supervision software (LudoS2C2).
The system integrates all the elements that help these people play and at the same time has the objective of being a useful tool for the specialists that work with them. The specialists will be able to configure the system according to the child’s needs and taking into account his pathology, disability or functional difficulty. The robot will behave attending to the interests of specialist and children.
Due to the methology of design used, it is possible to integrate new physical or virtual interfaces developed by Risoluta or other entities, as well as other types of robots, desktop applications, or any other device that we are interested to add it to the system. The procedure to get this it will be throught a simple software interface. The goal is to cover the needs of the children regardless of his disability.
